We offer a choice of luxury self-catering holiday cottages in Northumberland. Sleeping up to eight, Leaholme Cottage is a detached villa in the pretty seaside village of High Newton-by-the-Sea. Barbican View, Castle Retreat and Lionsgate View, each sleeping two, are holiday cottage apartments situated in an enviable location in the historic heart of Alnwick, directly opposite the barbican of Alnwick Castle, and just a short stroll from the town centre shops, restaurants and cafes.

Seasonal price banding

Each holiday or short break is individually priced, but the following provides a rough guide to relative costs:

Peak season: May half-term week (spanning the late May bank holiday), the English and Scottish school summer holidays (early July until the start of September), and the weeks including Christmas and New Year.

High season: all times not otherwise described, i.e. basically the school Easter holidays, May Day bank holiday week, June, September, and the late October school half-term weeks.

Mid season: the February school half-term weeks, the spring period between the Easter holidays and May half term (excluding the May Day bank holiday week), and early October.

Low season: early November through to the start of the Easter holidays (late March or early April), excluding the Christmas and New Year weeks.
