This romantic, historic apartment is just metres from Alnwick Castle, with absolutely stunning views from the lounge and bedroom of the castle walls and barbican. It is perfect for two and ideally placed for exploring the town, the castle and, indeed, the whole of Northumberland. Just a few minutes' walk into the centre of town, everything is on the doorstep, yet because it is not on the main streets, the apartment is very quiet and peaceful.

Entrance
The entrance to the apartment is initially through the front door of the building up four steep steps from the street. The front door to Lionsgate View is up two short internal flights of stairs. The apartment door then leads to the entire middle floor (of three) of the building.

Lounge / Dining Room
The spacious lounge and dining area boasts an original style window and built-in window seat as the walls are so thick. The lounge has a deep comfortable sofa, complemented by stylish full length curtains and luxurious carpets. The traditional Ercol dining table generously sits two with plush luxury velvet chairs. There is a large Smart TV, as well as a selection of books and board games. Wi-Fi with superfast broadband is provided.

Kitchen
The brand new contemporary kitchen makes excellent use of space. The worktops are stylish solid quartz with under-bench lighting, dishwasher, washer / dryer, induction hob, electric oven, integrated microwave, fridge, Tassimo coffee maker, toaster and digital radio with Bluetooth docking.

Bedroom
This beautifully spacious room has a luxury king-size bed with soft Hypnos mattress. The room boasts stunning views of the castle's barbican, and there is also a window seat from which to watch the world go by. There is plenty of storage space here, as well as a dressing table and stool. Luxury bed linen and fluffy white towels are provided.

Bathroom
The bathroom offers a stylish, contemporary space in cool calming grey tones. It features a full-sized bath with rainforest shower-over, wash basin with waterfall tap, wc, a stylish illuminated mirror and a heated towel rail. Luxury complimentary toiletries are also provided.

Outdoors
Although the apartment does not have any private outdoor space, there is a public bench just outside with wonderful castle views. Parking is on-street and the owner provides a complimentary residents' parking permit for use during your stay.
